Built over the course of a year—shaped slowly, returned to, refined—this sculpture carries more than form; it carries time. Beneath its surface lies a framework of wire, anchored firmly into a solid timber base. Layers of fabric and plaster were applied by hand, giving the figure both texture and character.
Created as a tribute to a gym owner and friend. This piece stands as a personal memento of resilience, discipline and quiet determination.
